How much time do I need to get the necessary First Aid Training?
The duration of a first aid training program depends on the modules that you choose to get qualified. For example, training in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on an adult lasts about 4 hours. If reconciling the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) lasts about 6 hours. If you choose the RTI comprehensive first aid training will last about
18 hours (2 days) wich also includes first aid for Children and Infants. Similarly, each of DAN Europe First Aid Training Courses lasts about 4-6 hours.
Should I take any examination in order to be certified as a first aid provider?
After completing an evaluation process addressed to the training you received, you will get certified as first aid provider. The evaluation procedure involves questionnaire completion and specific skills demonstration. All assessment items are based on the education you will have already received.
What is the validity of the First Aid Certificate which I will receive?
The validity of any first aid certificate regardless of the issuing organization is 2 years. A few days before the first aid certificate expire day, the holder should follow the same First Aid Seminar to be back into force. The duaration of retraining is much smaller, and cost much lower respectively.
