The duration of the training depends on the modules you choose. For example, adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training takes 4 hours. When combined with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, it takes 6 hours.
If you choose the Complete RTI First Aid Training, the duration is 18 hours (2 days), as it includes first aid for children and infants, adult first aid, as well as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
After completing your training, you will undergo an assessment process that includes completing a questionnaire and demonstrating specific first aid skills. All assessment components are based on the training you will have already received.
The validity period of each First Aid Certificate, regardless of the issuing organization, is 2 years. A few days before the certificate expires, the holder should attend the same First Aid Seminar again in order to renew the certificate. The duration and cost of the refresher training are significantly lower.
