First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work is a separate and specially designed training program that covers all emergency situations that may arise in the workplace.
During the program, participants learn how to respond to both life-threatening and non-life-threatening emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, stroke, heart attack, choking, as well as other non-life-threatening incidents involving common injuries.
Rescue Training International’s workplace first aid programs are divided into two categories: “First Aid at Work – 18 hours” and “Emergency First Aid at Work – 6 hours”. As a result, a company can choose either the 18-hour program, delivered over more than three days, or the 6-hour program, completed in one day.
First Aid at Work programs follow standardized European guidelines in terms of structure and content and are developed by the competent authorities of various EU Member States. As a result, a certificate bearing the corresponding qualification title is recognized and accepted in countries that apply the relevant European Directive.
According to European Union guidelines on workplace safety, first aid training is considered mandatory.
