Emergency First Aid at Work + GR
The “Emergency First Aid at Work (+) – GR” program fully complies with the requirements of Law 5239/2025, Article 39 (Occupational Health & Safety) and is ideally suited for businesses that need to train the largest possible percentage of their workforce within a short period of time, equipping personnel with essential life-saving knowledge and skills.
It combines the learning and application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Participants are trained in such a way that they can respond immediately to a cardiac arrest incident and become an active link in the chain of survival, while also being capable of effectively using an Automated External Defibrillator.
The training is completed in one day, with a total duration of 5 hours. The program includes the following subjects:
Course Delivery Methods
Complete physical presence (for both theoretical and practical part).
Course Content
- Current legislation on First Aid in the Workplace.
- Introduction to First Aid.
- The role of the first aider.
- Principles of personal hygiene and protection when providing first aid in the workplace.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Choking Management (Heimlich maneuver).
- Cardiac arrest.
- Function of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Unconscious casualty management.
The final assessment includes both a theoretical and a practical examination.
Successful participants receive the “RTI Emergency First Aid at Work (+) – GR” certification, which is valid for three (3) years.
