First Aid at Work UK
The RTI “First Aid at Work” program is appropriate for workplaces with large number of employees in a high index of occupational hazard.
The course duration is 18 hours and is the best solution for the employers who should equip their personel with valuable knowledge and life saving skills.
The program includes the major life-threatening incidents as well as all common injuries and illnesses. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training is included in the FAW program.
Course Delivery Methods:
1. Complete physical presence (for both theoretical and practical part).
Upon successful completion and examination of the training course, you will be provided with the internationally recognized RTI certificate.
2. Take the Online theoretical session and to succeed in the electronic evaluation.
You will be provided with a digital certificate of knowledge. Within 1 year, you can additioanally complete the practical part of your program with an RTI Certified Instructor and to receive the Rescue Training International certificate.
Course Content:
- Current legislation on first aid.
- Role of first assistant.
- Use of first aid equipment provided in the workplace.
- Principles of hygiene and personal protection in the process of providing first aid at work.
- Description and recording of the incident.
- Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Basic knowledge of asphyxia.
- Cardiac arrest.
- Senseless suffering.
- Epileptic seizure.
- Bleeding.
- Burns.
- Physical Shock.
- Acute poisoning.
- Anaphylactic Shock.
- Injuries of bones, muscles and joints.
- Spinal injuries.
- Thoracic Trauma.
- Eye Injuries.
- Minor cuts and wounds.
- Stroke.
- Asthma.
- Diabetes.
The final assessment includes practical examination conducted by an examiner appointed by Rescue Training International, and it engages the trainer program.
The Successful completion of the above course leads to the ” RTI First Aid at Work” certificate, valid for three (3) years.
